Another Trail Angel

I stopped to rest this morning between Beeler and Ness City, Kansas at a monument for George Washington Carver. While resting, Josh and Megan from Utah, cyclists heading west and towing their five year old daughter, pulled up. We talked about what’s ahead east for me and west for them, and they recommended Cuppa Joe in Ness City. I went there and met the owner, Connie, and Connie offered her studio for me to stay in tonight, as the motel was full. It’s a great place and I am very grateful to be here.
